Giving Back

We have several pieces for a cause where a percentage is donated for each sale, but we are also monthly supporters to the following charities.
When you buy one of our pieces you are helping a child or animal in need.

The ASPCA holds a big spot in the heart of HorseFeathers Gifts. Together Chelsea Farmer and Tammy Asher are the parents to over 10 rescued furry kids from dogs to horses. Founded in 1866, the ASPCA was the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. Their mission, as stated by founder Henry Bergh, is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” The ASPCA works to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide. With your support we will continue to help animals in need.
We just love what the mission of the Hands and Feet Project! Since the adoption process from Haiti is so long, tedious, and expensive, Hands and Feet chooses to raise their orphans in a family style environment, knowing that most of them will never leave Haiti. Nurturing and drawing out their God-given talents, the children grow up to be productive and vital members of their society. Since they provide ALL things for these children (school costs, clothing, food, toys, shelter, books, etc) their monthly expenses for each child are around $300. The reason they are able to care so thoroughly for these precious kids is largely in part to their Child Sponsorship program. Each child has up to 10 sponsors all at just $30 a month each.
Hands and Feet currently cares for over 100 children, and hopes to expand their reach to 1,000 by the year 2016…an incredible goal! We would love for you to help sponsor just one of these kids….the more sponsorships they have, the more children they can welcome into their loving arms.
One of our dreams is to be able to take a trip to Haiti and help out at one of the orphanages, with your support; we hope to make that dream come true.
